My Journey into Insurance – A Personal Experience That Changed Everything

My path into the insurance industry wasn't exactly traditional.

I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, graduated from Driscoll Catholic High School, and earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Before insurance, I spent several years working in Chicago's hospitality industry, where I learned the importance of listening, building relationships, and providing exceptional customer service.

At age 33, a personal experience with inadequate insurance coverage changed my perspective. I learned firsthand how important it is to not only have insurance but to understand what your coverage actually protects.

That experience inspired me to join State Farm in 2015, with a personal goal of opening my own agency by age 38. Shortly after my 38th birthday, I accomplished that goal and opened the Adam Chamorro State Farm Agency in Germantown, Wisconsin.

Today, I'm proud to lead a team that shares my passion for helping people understand their insurance and feel confident about their coverage.
